Introduction to Model and Terminology 2.1

AVEVA™ E3D Design is a intuitive program with different applications that enable discipline designers to create a 3D model of a plant. These applications use common features within the Model module that designers need to be familiar with before embarking on discipline specific application training.

 

At the end of a lesson you may be required to complete a quiz. The pass mark for each quiz is 80%. You are able to have multiple attempts if you don't pass the first time. 

 

The course duration is approximately 9 hours, and consists of 11 lessons with 58 videos with a total duration of 2 hours 27 minutes and 50 seconds.

There have been a number of updates to the software since it was initially released, it is prudent to also review the course AVEVA™ E3D Design 2.1 Fixes & Releases.

Residue Fluidized Catalytic Cracking (RFCC)

Experiential training course that covers RFCC process fundamental concepts and basic unit operations, including standard operating procedures and abnormal situations.

Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

    • Perform Start Up and Shutdown procedures of the Plant
    • Perform normal operating procedures
    • Respond to different abnormal situations


Fired Heaters

This suite of micro-courses covers components, operation, heater care, hazards and heater control in a processing operation.

Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

    • Understand the basics of fired heaters
    • Identify the different types of fired heaters
    • Identify the common components of fired heaters
    • Understand normal / abnormal fired heater operations
    • Recognize fired heater failure conditions and failure prevention
    • Recognize hazards of fired heaters
    • Know how to perform fired heater inspections

This course should take approximately 4 Hour to complete.
